How to use ride passes
Ride Passes are a great way to save money if you ride SCOOTY frequently. Check the app in the city you’re riding to see what passes are available for you. Here's everything you need to know about how they work.

Depending on your city, SCOOTY has two types of passes:
1. Plus Pass:
- Set percentage discount per-ride
- First minute free
- Free unlocking
- Free reservations
- Typically valid for up to 30 days from time of purchase
- Valid for single rides only, not group rides
- Pre-authorization hold amount may apply
- Non-compliance parking fees may apply
2. Minute-based Pass:
- Set number of total ride time minutes included
- Free unlocking
- Free reservations
- Unlimited rides
- Typically valid for 24 hours, 3 days, or 7 days
- Valid for single rides only, not group rides
- Pre-authorization hold amount may apply
- Non-compliance parking fees may apply
How to Purchase a Ride Pass:
1. Open the SCOOTY app
2. Tap the menu icon
3. Select Pass
4. Browse the available options
5. Tap on the pass you want
6. Review the details and tap Purchase
Important Things to Know:
• Ride Passes cannot be used for group rides
• You still need to maintain a $10 minimum wallet balance
• Parking fees still apply if you park outside designated zones
• If your ride exceeds the pass time limit, regular per-minute rates apply for the extra time
• Pricing and minutes vary per city.
