Immediate Steps:
1. Stay Calm and Assess the Situation
• Check yourself for injuries
• Don't try to move if you suspect a serious injury
2. Call for Emergency Help if Needed
• Call 911 if you or anyone else is injured
• Give the dispatcher your location (use the nearest street address or intersection)
• Stay on the line and follow their instructions
3. Get to Safety
• If you're in traffic, move yourself and the SCOOTY out of the road if it's safe to do so
• Make yourself visible to traffic if you can't move
4. Provide First Aid if trained
• Help others if you're able and trained to do so
• Don't move someone who may have a spinal injury
5. Document the Incident
• Take photos of the accident scene, the SCOOTY, and any damage
• Get contact information from any witnesses
• Note the vehicle number (RS or RB) from the SCOOTY
After the Incident:
1. Seek medical attention even if you feel fine - some injuries appear later
2. Submit a support ticket to SCOOTY with:
• Your name and contact information
• Date, time, and location of the accident
• The SCOOTY vehicle number
• Description of what happened
• Any photos or documentation
