Why do I have a negative balance
A negative balance on your SCOOTY account means your last ride or fee cost more than your available wallet balance. Don't worry - this is easy to resolve.

Why This Happens:
• Your ride lasted longer than expected and exceeded your wallet balance
• A parking fee was applied for ending outside a Designated Parking Zone
• You had a group ride with charges for multiple vehicles
• An outstanding fee from a previous ride was applied

What You Need to Do:
1. Open the SCOOTY app
2. Tap the menu icon

3. Go to My Wallet

4. Select Add Balance

5. Add enough to cover the negative amount plus maintain the minimum balance
Once your balance is cleared, you'll be ready to ride again.
Tip: To avoid negative balances in the future, consider maintaining a higher wallet balance or switching to pay-by-card mode, which charges your card directly after each ride. Please note: if you pay by card you may see a pre-authorization security hold from SCOOTY in your account.
