Can’t end my ride

Having trouble ending your ride? Here are the most common reasons and how to fix them.

SCOOTY

Make Sure You're in the Local Service Area:

SCOOTY vehicles are not allowed to leave the local Service Area. If you attempt to leave the local Service Area the vehicle motor will stop working and you will see lights flashing on the vehicle and you will also hear an alarm. You will not be able to end your ride outside of the Local Service Area.

Make Sure You're Not in a No-Riding/No-Parking Zone:

SCOOTY vehicles are not allowed to enter No-Riding/No-Parking Zones, and if you enter a No-Riding/No-Parking Zone (red area on the map) you will see lights flashing on the vehicle, the motor will stop working and you will hear an alarm. In this case you will not be able to end your ride.

Return to the riding zone and find a Designated Parking Zones (blue "P" on the map).

Check if You are in a Priority Parking Zone:

Priority Parking Zones are areas outlined in purple in the map in the SCOOTY App. In a Priority Parking Zone, all rides must end at a Designated Parking Zone.

Make Sure You're in a Parking Zone:

Rides should be ended at Designated Parking Zones (blue "P" on the map).

1. Check the app map for the nearest Designated Parking Zone
2. Ride or walk the vehicle to that location
3. Try ending the ride again

Are You Close Enough?

SCOOTY requires you to be within 40 meters of the vehicle to end a ride.

• If you see "too far from vehicle," move closer to the scooter
• Make sure your GPS/location services are enabled and updated.

Follow the End Ride Steps:

1. Park the vehicle on its kickstand in a Designated Parking Zone
2. Make sure the vehicle is stable and upright
3. Swipe right on the "End Ride" button in the app
4. Take a clear photo of your parked vehicle
5. Upload the photo and confirm

If the app isn't responding:

1. Make sure you have a stable internet connection
2. Turn off any VPN if you have one enabled
3. Close and reopen the app
4. Try again

If nothing works and you still can't end your ride:

1. Park the vehicle at a Designated Parking Zone
2. Make sure it's properly positioned and won't fall
3. Leave the vehicle there - it will automatically end after 15 minutes of being idle
4. Submit a support ticket with your name, the vehicle number (RS/RB), and the time you parked

Our team will manually end your ride and adjust any overcharges.
