Riding an E-Scooter:

1. Take the scooter off the kickstand

Hold the handlebars with both hands, place one foot firmly on the deck, and gently push the scooter forward to fold the kickstand up.

2. Get into a ready position

Keep one foot on the deck (front foot) and your other foot on the ground behind you. Hold the handlebars firmly and keep your knees slightly bent.

3. Push off to start moving

Use your back foot to push off the ground 1-2 times to build rolling momentum.

4. Place both feet on the deck

Once the scooter is moving, place your back foot onto the deck so both feet are on the scooter - one in front of the other for balance.

5. Accelerate smoothly

Once you’re rolling, gently press the throttle (near the right handlebar, labelled “GO” ) to speed up. Start slow and increase gradually.

6. Ride and steer steadily

Look ahead, keep both hands on the handlebars, and make smooth, controlled steering movements.

7. Brake gradually to slow down or stop

Use the brakes to slow down - squeeze gently and evenly. Avoid sudden braking.

8. Signal before turning

Use the turn signals (or hand signals) to indicate your direction before turning or changing lanes.

Riding an E-Bike:

1. Adjust the seat height

Open the seat clamp, raise or lower the seat to a comfortable height where your leg is slightly bent at the bottom of the pedal stroke, then clamp it securely.

2. Take the bike off the kickstand

Hold the handlebars and push the bike forward to flip the kickstand back into place.

3. Get seated and ready

Sit on the seat, place both hands on the handlebars, and put one foot on a pedal while the other stays on the ground for balance.

4. Start pedaling to move

Begin pedaling forward - the bike will start moving normally, just like a regular bicycle.

4, Feel the pedal assist kick in

As you pedal, the motor will automatically provide assistance, giving you a smooth boost and making it easier to ride.

5. Control your speed

Pedal steadily and follow traffic rules. The faster and more consistently you pedal, the smoother the assist feels.

6. Brake smoothly to slow down or stop

Use the hand brakes to slow down - squeeze gradually and evenly, especially when approaching intersections or stopping.
