Why is my vehicle beeping or flashing

SCOOTY vehicles have audio and visual alerts to communicate with you. Here's what different beeping and flashing patterns mean.

Green Light + Beeping:
The vehicle is locked (not on an active ride) and is being moved or disturbed. This is an anti-theft alarm. If you're trying to ride, make sure you've properly started the ride in the app.

Red/Flashing Light + Beeping (Turn Signals):
The turn signals are active. If they're flashing and you don't want them on, tap the turn signal buttons on the handlebars to turn them off.

Red/Flashing Light + Alarm:
You've entered a no-ride restricted zone. The motor will be disabled. You need to walk the vehicle out of the restricted zone to continue riding.

For Restricted Zone Alerts:
1. Safely dismount the vehicle
2. Walk it out of the restricted area (shown in red on the app map)
3. Once you're back in an allowed zone, you can continue riding

If a vehicle is flashing or beeping for an unknown reason, please submit a support ticket and include the vehicle number so it can be inspected by our team.
