How do promos and credits work?
SCOOTY offers promotions and credits to help you save on rides. Here's how they work.

How to Redeem a Promo Code:
2. Tap the menu icon to open the sidebar
2. Tap the menu icon to open the sidebar
3. Select Promotions
4. Look for Available Promos if they’re public or tap “Add New Promo” if it’s a private promotion code you have.
5. Type in your promo code exactly as provided & tap “Apply”.
Once applied, your promotion will be active and ready to use on your next ride.
Finding Your Active Promotions
• Active promos: Found in My Promos section under the Promotions tab
• Wallet credits: Appear in your wallet balance and Transaction History
How Credits Are Applied
When you take a ride:
1. Promotional credits are typically used first
2. Then your wallet balance
3. Finally, your linked payment method if needed
Important Things to Know:
• Promo codes are usually case-sensitive - enter them exactly as shown
• Some promotions have expiration dates - check the terms
• Promotional credits may have specific conditions (like new users only)
• Credits don't expire unless specifically stated
• In seasonal cities, credits carry over to the next season

• Email newsletters
• Local events and partnerships
• Friends who have referral codes
