How far can a SCOOTY travel?

The distance depends on several factors

SCOOTY

Last Update hace 4 meses

You can ride as far as you’d like on a SCOOTY, as long as you stay within the service area shown in the app. There’s no set distance limit per trip, your ride length depends mainly on the vehicle’s battery level.

If you leave the service area, the vehicle may slow down or stop, and you’ll need to return to an active zone to end your ride. Always check the in-app map while riding.
Battery Range:

A fully charged SCOOTY can typically travel:

  • E-Scooters: Up to 70 km on a full charge
  • E-Bikes: Up to 100 kms on a full charge

Actual range can vary depending on:

  • Terrain (uphill uses more battery)
  • Speed
  • Weather conditions (cold weather can reduce range)
  • How often you stop and start
  • Rider weight

Checking Battery Before You Ride:

The app shows the battery level for each vehicle:

  • Green ring: Full battery - great for longer trips
  • Yellow ring: Medium battery - good for moderate distances
  • Red ring: Low battery - best for short trips only

Planning Your Trip:

Before starting a longer ride:

  1. Choose a vehicle with a green (full) battery indicator when possible
  2. Check the map for Designated Parking Zones along your route
  3. Keep an eye on the battery level during your ride
  4. Plan to end your trip near a parking zone before the battery gets too low

What If the Battery Runs Low?

If the battery gets low during your ride:

  1. The vehicle will automatically slow down to conserve power
  2. Ride to the nearest Designated Parking Zone
  3. End your ride and switch to another vehicle with more charge

You’re never stranded - just swap to another SCOOTY!
